We are pleased to announce that we have been hired to develop a custom hotel management software system for Hollow Valley Resort, a boutique short-term vacation destination located in the quaint village of Dorset, ON.
The owners found it difficult to run their unique business using generic services that already exist in the industry. Since they don't operate a typical hotel, motel or a single rental unit property, it is difficult to manage all the different apps needed to run their business the way they want to, especially with limited staff. Having to login to multiple applications is tedious and a challenge to maintain data consistency across multiple platforms. Many things were falling through the cracks and hurting the business.
They want everything in one place and a work flow to match their business perfectly, so we were able to successfully convince them that a custom software solution was the way to go. We will also be developing a new customer-facing website and booking system so it works seamlessly with no need for additional API connections to various 3d party apps.
Furthermore, we have also been hired to apply for government funding programs and they will be receiving rebates for R&D, as well as other programs geared towards the hospitality industry.
The resort is currently being developed with no immediate rush to complete the project so we can take our time with the planning process, which is amazing and rare.
